Punja Dhurrie, Nakodar

In the year 2018, as a part of my case studies for my architectural thesis, I spent two days watching and documenting the 'Punja Dhurrie' (woven rugs) craft in a small town called Nakodar, in Punjab, which is well known for its rug making and 'Lakkad Jadha' (wood inlay) craft in another town called Hoshiarpur.

This craft report is a compilation of my findings from the visits.
